Research on the Torque Control Strategy of a Distributed 4WD Electric Vehicle Based on Economy and Stability Control

To improve the comprehensive performance of distributed wheel-side four-wheel-drive electric bus, problem optimal distribution driving torque four motors is studied. Aiming at poor economy and failure switching control due to consideration both straight steering conditions, this paper proposes a fuzzy yaw moment strategy based on golden section search algorithm. Under full working according efficiency characteristics front rear axle drive motors, algorithm used determine best motor coefficient K distribute torques. Given stability problems existing in axles, calculate expected moment, left right wheel torques are adjusted real time. The simulation carried out through TruckSim MATLAB/Simulink, hardware-in-the-loop platform built for experimentation under step conditions sine wave conditions. results show that proposed can optimally real-time identification Compared with four-wheel equal distribution, two different using increased by 4.35% 3.83%, respectively. energy utilization rate whole vehicle improved all compared deviation slip angle be reduced, has been improved.
